Chestnut Hill Friends Meeting is located in the historic neighborhood of Chestnut Hill. The meetinghouse is east of Germantown Avenue and a few steps from the intersection of Winston Road and East Mermaid Lane.
By Train
Our meetinghouse is a 10-minute walk from the Wyndmoor station of SEPTA’s Chestnut Hill East line. From the station, go downstairs, then walk west and south towards E. Mermaid Lane. Turn right on Mermaid. The meetinghouse is a short distance down the block on your left, just before Winston Road.
By Car
From the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76)
Get off the expressway at the Lincoln Drive exit and follow Lincoln Drive as it winds through Fairmount Park and Mount Airy until it dead-ends at Allens Lane. Turn right on Allens Lane, following it until it ends at Germantown Avenue. Turn left onto Germantown Avenue. After the second stop light at the intersection with Cresheim Valley Drive, bear right onto Winston Road for a short block, then turn right onto E Mermaid Lane. The meetinghouse is on your right.
From the Mid-County Interchange of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276) and the Blue Route (I-476)
After the toll plaza, follow signs to Germantown Pike East. Follow Germantown Pike (which becomes Germantown Avenue) east for 6 miles into Chestnut Hill. Four blocks after the lighted intersection at Willow Grove Avenue, turn left onto E Mermaid Lane. The meetinghouse is on your right.
Parking
Parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to our building on East Mermaid Lane.
